Marketing Collateral

Overview
In my experience as a marketing designer, sales and marketing collateral tends to be the bread and butter of your role. It’s often one of the things listed to you when someone is pitching you a job. “We’re looking for someone who can design ads, one-pagers, brochures, infographics, ebooks, etc.” And thank goodness it is because I love making them! Here are some of my favorites over the years. Just like ads, I have also made hundreds of pieces of sales and marketing collateral. For me, they’re often some of the fastest things I can provide to a team so they can capitalize on a campaign or use at an event.
Role
Creative direction and design execution. Copy for all of these projects were provided by either creative copy writers, or product marketers.
Purpose
Provide a piece of collateral (digital or print) to support a campaign, event, email, etc. That could be a one-pager, brochure, infographic, slide deck, ebook, guide, etc.
Goal
Provide visual support to a campaign or presentation with further information on a specific topic. Often, these assets are used in downloadable content campaigns where the goal is downloads.
Outcome
These supporting collateral pieces have been some of the more successful ones I’ve created. They are informative, and easy for the user/viewer to consume.
